Grandma Koch's Coffee Cake

Ingredients
Cake:
- 1.5 cup AP flour, sifted
- 2.5 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- ¼ cup Wesson Oil
- ¾ cup milk, whole fat
Topping:
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp Wesson Oil
- ¼ cup brown sugar, packed (light or dark ok)
- ½ cup chopped nuts (such as walnuts or pecans)
Directions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Sift dry ingredients together. Add egg, oil, and milk, stirring until mixed.

Pour into an oiled 8 x 8 x 2 glass baking dish.

Mix ingredients for topping and sprinkle evenly over the batter.

Bake 30-35 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
Notes
- This recipe doubles well. Cake can be made ahead of time and stored in the freezer to reheat later.
