Butterscotch Brownies
Time = 15 min prep + 30 min bake
Servings = 1 pan of brownies

Ingredients
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter
- 2 cups light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup AP flour, sifted
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
Directions

Preheat oven to 350F

Melt 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter in saucepan and stir in 2 cups brown sugar

Cool slightly, then beat with 2 eggs and 2 tsp vanilla.

Sift then measure 1 cup flour, 2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt. Stir into butter mixture.

Pour into greased 8 x 8 in metal baking pan. Bake 30 min at 350F. Do not overbake.
