Simple Beef Tacos
Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup water
- 3 parts garlic powder
- 3 parts chili powder
- 3 parts paprika
- 2 parts red pepper
- 2 parts Tabasco
- 1 part cumin
- 1 part salt
- 1 part oregano
Directions
- Brown the ground beef in a medium frying pan.
- Drain the fat using a paper towel. Don't pour it down the drain.
- Add water and spices then bring to a boil.
- Simmer until most of the water has evaporated, usually about 10 minutes
- Serve with soft tortillas, taco shells, or over chips for nachos.
Notes
- Overall, the recipe needs about 35 grams of spice per 2 pounds of meat.
