Horchata
Reagents: 1 cup white rice 5 cups water
1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 tbsp vanilla 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Procedure:
- Fill the bowl of a blender with 5 cups water.
- Add 1 cup of rice and blend on medium speed for ~1 minute
- Let the rice water sit for at least 3 hours
- Decant the rice water into a clean container
- Add milk, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon then refrigerate.
Notes: Don't add too much vanilla extract, you can really taste it.
