Horchata

Reagents: 1 cup white rice 5 cups water

1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 tbsp vanilla 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Procedure:

  1. Fill the bowl of a blender with 5 cups water.
  2. Add 1 cup of rice and blend on medium speed for ~1 minute
  3. Let the rice water sit for at least 3 hours
  4. Decant the rice water into a clean container
  5. Add milk, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon then refrigerate.

Notes: Don't add too much vanilla extract, you can really taste it.
