Old Fashioned
Ingredients
- 2 oz (¼ cup, 55 g, 1 finger) high-proof bourbon
- 1 tsp (5-10 g) simple syrup, maple syrup, honey, etc.
- 1-5 dashes (⅛-½ tsp, to taste) Angostura bitters
- 1 orange twist or dehydrated orange slice
- 1 Maraschino cherry
- 1-2 ice cubes

Avoid as much pith as possible when slicing peels. In fact, using a vegetable peeler works well for this.
